Our club is located in Springfield IL, we are in the Great Lakes region.
We have one show a season and are presently the last show of the point
season.
We are a purebred and Household pet club, Our members are active in
both classes of showing Cats/Kittens.
A lot of folks have became interested in showing but believe they have
to own a purebred cat to show. This is not true you can show your
household pet and you receive points and awards for your household
pet.
All purebred cats/kittens have standards that our Judges follow when
Judging them they are looking at eyes, ears, nose, coat texture and
length, body size, and how close the cat comes to the standards that
TICA (The international cat association.)has excepted as the standard
for that specific breed.
All household pets have standards that our Judges follow when
Judging them these standards are the health of the household pet the
cleanliness, coat, ears, awareness, and gentleness of
the pet. They also look at the playfulness of the household pet.
If you have a household pet that you would like to show you can
register your cat/kitten by going to www.ticaeo.com click on
registration and download the form for registering your household pet.
Send the form to TICA along with the fee for registration and you will
receive a certificate back that will allow you to show your cat/kitten.

when you enter your first show be sure to tell the entry clerk that this
is your first time and they will help you with a list of items you will
need.
